This Privacy Policy explains what information the Top 72 Future Prospects Showcase (“we,” “us”) collects when you register a player, apply to coach, or use our website and portals, and how we use and protect it. By using the site you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when registering or applying, including:
- Player information: name, date of birth, USSSA ID, travel team, positions, and jersey size.
- Parent/guardian & emergency contact: names, email addresses, phone numbers, and relationship.
- Shipping address for jersey fulfillment.
- Coach application details: contact info, role/division, coaching background, shirt size, and background-check willingness.
- Technical data such as basic log information needed to operate and secure the site.
We do not collect or store payment card numbers. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor (see Section 4).
2. Children’s Privacy
The Event is for youth players who are minors. Player information is provided by a parent or legal guardian, not by the child. We collect a child’s information only as needed to register and run the Event, and only with the consent of the parent/guardian who completes registration. If you believe a child’s information was provided without proper consent, contact us and we will remove it.
3. How We Use Information
- Process registrations and manage waitlists and roster spots.
- Build teams and coordinate coaches.
- Produce and ship player jerseys.
- Send transactional emails (confirmations, reminders, sign-in links) and event updates.
- Operate the player and coach portals and verify access.
- Run the Event safely and respond to questions.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card information is collected and handled by Stripe under its own privacy and security practices; we receive only confirmation of payment and limited transaction details — never your full card number.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Event:
- Service providers who help us operate — for example Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Neon).
- USSSA, in connection with sanctioning and operating the Event.
- Coaches assigned to a player’s team may see that player’s roster details and parent contact information for team coordination.
- When required by law or to protect the safety of participants.
6. Photos & Media
Participants may be photographed or recorded at the Event for promotional and informational use, as described in our Terms, Waiver & Policies.
7. Data Retention & Security
We keep registration and event information for as long as needed to run the Event and meet recordkeeping needs, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your Choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and you can opt out of non-essential emails at any time. Some transactional messages (like payment confirmations) are necessary to provide the service. To make a request, contact us below.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
