Terms, Waiver & Policies

Top 72 Future Prospects Showcase · Effective June 7, 2026

These terms govern registration and participation in the Top 72 Future Prospects Showcase (the “Event”), held November 27–29, 2026 at Cactus Yards in Gilbert, Arizona, and operated in conjunction with USSSA. By registering a player, applying to coach, or attending, you agree to the terms below on behalf of yourself and your player.

No Refund Policy

All payments made for the Top 72 Future Prospects Showcase — including registration fees and any add-on purchases — are non-refundable for any reason. This includes, without limitation, illness, injury, scheduling conflicts, travel issues, weather, personal emergencies, removal for conduct, or a change of plans.

Payments are also non-transferable — they cannot be moved to another player, another event, or a future credit. Registering constitutes your understanding and acceptance of this policy.

1. Eligibility & Roster Spots

Each age division (9U–14U) is capped at 72 confirmed players. A spot is confirmed only once payment is received. If a division is full at the time of registration, the player is placed on a waitlist at no charge and offered a spot, first-come first-served, only if one opens.

2. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

Baseball and related activities involve inherent risks, including the risk of serious physical injury, illness, or, in rare cases, death. By participating, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and discharge USSSA, the Top 72 Future Prospects Showcase, Cactus Yards, and their respective organizers, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, coaches, sponsors, and facility partners (the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of participation in or attendance at the Event.

3. Medical Authorization

In the event of injury or illness, you authorize Event staff to seek and consent to emergency medical treatment for your player when a parent or guardian cannot be reached promptly. You are responsible for any associated medical costs and confirm your player is physically fit to participate.

4. Photo & Media Release

You grant the Released Parties the irrevocable right to photograph and record participants at the Event and to use that imagery for promotional, marketing, and informational purposes without compensation.

5. Code of Conduct

Players, parents, coaches, and guests are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, officials, volunteers, opponents, and facilities. The Event may remove any participant or guest for conduct it deems inappropriate. Removal for a conduct violation does not entitle anyone to a refund.

6. Event Changes & Cancellation

The Event will make reasonable efforts to run the full schedule but may adjust formats, timing, or venues due to weather, field conditions, or circumstances beyond its control. Such changes do not alter the No Refund Policy above.
